Lindsay Lohan’s Iconic Roles

Lindsay LOhan

Whoever doesn’t love the original queen of drama can exit the chat. Lindsay Lohan has given us drama on-screen as well as off-screen after all who didn’t love her in “Mean Girls”?

Her journey may have had its fair share of ups and downs but let’s face it, some of Lindsay’s on-screen characters stayed with us all our adult …erm teen years. Here is a countdown to 7 of her most iconic roles.

7. Lola Steppe (Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, 2004)

Was it the sign of things to come? Maybe. Was the drama just right for our teenage hearts? Hell yes! Lola was over-the-top dramatic but then the movie title had warned us in so many words.

6. Casey Stuart (Life-Size, 2000)

Not one of her best-known films, but paired with Tyra Banks’s on-screen Eve,Casey served us some heartwarming scenes.

5. Maggie Peyton (Herbie: Fully Loaded, 2005)

Who would’ve thought that the camaraderie of a car and a girl would have such a profound effect. The only love story I live for is Maggie and Herbie. *ugly crying*

4. Annie James-Hallie Parker (The Parent Trap, 1998)

One of Lindsay’s highest grossing films was a treat because at 12, the girl could act!Bonus points for juggling both English and American accents.

3. Cady Heron (Mean Girls, 2004)

A cult classic for a gazillion reasons. Iconic outfits, drama, nerds, divas, and of course, Tina Fey. Cady Heron was the nerdy genius we all needed in our lives.

2. Anna (Freaky Friday, 2003)

Many may disagree with “Freaky Friday” being placed above “Mean Girls,” but Lindsay gave one of her best performances in the movie. Imagine juggling the role of a 40 something working mother and a 17-year-old angsty teen. Not easy, Tess. Brownie points to Lindsay’s song “Ultimate” that plays during the end credits.

1. Queen Lilo (Mykonos Party, 2018)

“Honey, this is how you throw a party in Mykonos” is the one phrase Gen Z’ers live and breathe. The only role we live for is Lilo being her true, happy self. That video gives me life and hope and love for this wonderful woman. Y’all need to whip out that camera and #DoTheLilo.

Miss Lohan is an entrepreneur, singer, teen icon and she rose above all the adversities at a very young age. How many live to tell the story of their stints and take responsibility for their actions? Lilo did that and with grace and is living her best darn life. Here’s to many more Mykonos videos and Lilo years.
